A Butterfly Bathing in the Morning Dew
Your child can color in the butterfly's beautiful patterned wings, design the round dewdrops in every shade of blue imaginable, and lovingly decorate the leaves and grasses around the little bathing spot. Every detail invites close attention and creative work.
Tip: Sparkling Drops and Colorful Wings
Light blue and turquoise shades work especially well for the dewdrops, maybe with a touch of white for a shiny effect. The butterfly's wings can be as colorful as you like, anything from soft pink to bold orange to deep purple is fair game. Imagine the butterfly dressed up specially for this special bathing morning.
The leaves and grasses look lovely colored in different shades of green, adding depth and liveliness to the picture. If you like, you can even hint at little sunbeams peeking through the leaves in the background. You can download this coloring page easily and for free, and print it at home on a regular A4 sheet. Then the shared coloring fun with your child can begin, and the little butterfly gets its very own, one-of-a-kind color coat.
