Busy Buzzing: The Beehive Coloring Page
Your child can discover the hexagonal honeycombs where the honey is stored, along with busy bees flying in and out, and maybe even a few flowers around it inviting them to gather nectar. There's so much to explore and even more to color in.
Tip: From light wax to rich honey gold
Warm yellow and brown tones work especially well for the beehive itself, giving it a natural look just like real beeswax. The little bees, on the other hand, can shine boldly, with bright yellow and deep black for their typical stripes. If you like, let your imagination run wild and color a bee in purple or turquoise, because in a coloring page, every rule can be broken.
Maybe you could come up with a little story together: What's the name of the busiest bee in the hive, and what does she tell the others when she comes back from her outing?
