Butterfly Hunt in the Park: A Teacher and Her Curious Students

What makes this picture so special is the mix of learning and nature, of togetherness and tiny wonders in the sky. Your child can color in several butterflies here in all sorts of shapes, along with trees, flowers, and of course the teacher and her students in their own clothing colors. Every character gets to have their own personality.

Tip for colorful wings and a lively park

The butterfly wings can be as colorful as you like: orange and black for a monarch butterfly, soft blue with white dots, or even pink and yellow if imagination is given free rein. Butterflies in nature are colorful enough anyway, so it's a great chance to experiment boldly here. For the park, different shades of green work well for the leaves, along with a warm yellow for the sun peeking through the treetops.

Maybe you can come up with a little story together: What's the name of the butterfly the class discovered, and what might it tell the children if it could talk? You can download the coloring page for free and print it out at home on A4 paper. Then all you need is some crayons, a quiet corner, and your own little discovery adventure can begin.
