Nile Coloring Page

Dear parents, get ready for a little trip to Africa, no suitcase packing required. The Nile is one of the longest rivers in the world, and on our coloring page it winds its way across the paper in graceful curves, past palm trees, papyrus plants, and maybe even a curious crocodile soaking up the sun on the riverbank.

The Nile is calling: a coloring page for little explorers

Your child can really dive in here: the calm river water, the green riverside plants, a little boat cheerfully drifting along, and of course all the animals around it are just waiting to be brought to life with color. A motif that stirs up wanderlust while also making for a wonderfully relaxing coloring session.

Tip: water doesn't only need blue

Feel free to experiment with the Nile. Try out different shades of blue and turquoise for the water, maybe even mix in a bit of green for a natural look. The palm trees can shine in bold green, while the sand on the riverbank glows in warm beige and ochre tones. If you like, tell your child along the way that people have lived along the Nile for thousands of years, and the river helped them grow their crops.

You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home on standard letter size paper, and the little Nile expedition can begin with crayons or wax pencils.
