Centaur with Farrier Tools Coloring Page

Dear parents, have you already met this unusual craftsman from the magic forest? Our centaur isn't just half human, half horse, he's also a true talent at the anvil. With a hammer, tongs, and a horseshoe in hand, he stands ready, as if he just accepted an important order from the king of the forests.

The hardworking centaur blacksmith and his clattering tools

The picture is full of little details for your children to discover and color in. There's the sturdy horse half with lots of fur, the muscular upper body, the serious expression while working, and of course the shiny tools just waiting to shine in silver or gold tones. The background, too, with maybe a small forge or a few workbenches, leaves plenty of room for their own ideas.

Tip for colorful horseshoes and glowing iron

How about making the horseshoe in the tongs look glowing hot? Orange and red right at the metal, getting darker toward the edges, that looks really realistic. The horse body's fur can happily be kept in warm brown or even a bold blue, after all this is a magical creature, not an ordinary mare. The anvil itself looks especially good in dark gray with a few silver highlights.

While you're at it, tell your children that this centaur makes sure every day that all the magical creatures in the forest are well shod, whether unicorn or dragon. You can download the coloring page easily and for free, and print it out comfortably at home on A4 paper. Then all you need to do is get out the crayons, and the little workshop can come to life.
