Craft Time at the Table: A Paper Turkey Takes Shape
What makes this picture so special is the mix of crafting and coloring that kids always love. Your little ones can color the paper turkey's feathers in every color imaginable, give the child's face a cheerful expression, and even lovingly decorate the table with all the different craft supplies.
Tip: Conjuring Up Feathers in Fall Colors
Autumn shades like orange, reddish-brown, yellow, and a warm brown work especially well for the turkey. Each feather can have its own color, making the paper turkey look extra lively and colorful in the end. You can draw the child in a cozy sweater, perhaps in a lovely autumn red or a soft mustard yellow.
If you like, you can come up with a little story to go along with it: maybe the child is crafting the turkey as a surprise for the family or as decoration for the Thanksgiving celebration. You can download this coloring page easily and for free, and simply print it at home on a regular sheet of paper. Nothing stands in the way of a cozy afternoon with crayons, and in the end, your very own little work of art might even end up hanging on the fridge.
