A colorful coral reef floor to color in
What makes the coral reef floor so special is its variety of shapes. Sometimes your kids will see round structures, sometimes pointy spikes, sometimes soft wavy lines growing like little trees from the seabed. In between, little fish, starfish or shells might be hiding, just waiting to be brought to life with color. That's how a simple coloring page turns into a whole underwater adventure.
Tip: Dive into the sea with colors
Corals don't always have to be just orange or pink, even though that certainly looks beautiful. Feel free to encourage your kids to experiment with purple, turquoise or even yellow, since real coral reefs are full of surprising color combinations. If you like, you can color the background in different shades of blue so the water looks really deep and mysterious. Little imaginary fish can be as bright and bold as you like, after all, the underwater world thrives on exactly these kinds of surprises.
