A Magical Friendship: The Fairy and the Hungry Squirrel
Your child can discover several exciting details here and fill them with color. There are the fairy's delicate wings, which could certainly shine in a shimmering glitter look, her airy dress that looks like it came straight from a flower meadow and summer breeze, and of course the chubby squirrel with its bushy tail. The forest floor with leaves, stones, and maybe a mushroom is also waiting to come to life.
Coloring Tip: From Delicate to Bold
For the fairy, lovely pastel shades such as lilac, pink, or mint green work especially well, while the wings can sparkle with a touch of gold or silver if glitter pens are on hand. The squirrel, on the other hand, can shine in warm reddish-brown or rich orange, just like its relatives in the real forest. Think together with your child about which season the two might be experiencing right now, perhaps it's golden autumn and the leaves get to glow in yellow and brown.
