The proud deer on its mountain peak
There's plenty to discover and color in this picture. The deer's magnificent antlers, its sturdy fur, the rugged rocks beneath its hooves, and of course the wide sky in the background. There's lots of room to paint and color until the whole page comes to life.
Tip: Capturing the mountain air with colors
Warm brown tones work well for the deer, maybe with a touch of gray on the ears and snout. The antlers can stay a bit lighter, almost like polished wood. You can shape the rocks beneath it using different shades of gray, which gives a nice sense of depth. And the sky? It can be a bold blue, with a few white wisps of clouds just hinted at with the colored pencil.
Anyone who likes can even invent a little story while coloring: why is the deer standing up there? Did it search for the best view in the whole forest, or is it calling its friends up from the valley? Little questions like these make coloring even more exciting and invite some fun chatting. You can download this coloring page completely free and print it conveniently at home, best on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are colored pencils or crayons, and the deer on its peak can shine in your favorite colors.
