Desert Caravan: A Journey Through the Coloring Page
There's plenty to discover in the picture: camels with their humps and harnesses, rolling sand dunes, perhaps a palm tree on the horizon, and the travelers riding on the animals. Coloring idea: Which time of day will you choose?
Warm yellow and ochre tones work well for the sand, blending into soft brown, just like real dunes shimmer in the light. The camels can be sand-colored or boldly spotted, and anyone who likes can give them colorful blankets on their backs. The sky can stay bright blue or be dipped in orange and pink if the sun is setting. Little details like water bottles, turbans, or footprints in the sand are especially fun to look for.
