Fiery Friend: The Dragon in the Volcano Coloring Page
Your child can bring this dragon to life with scaly skin, powerful wings, and a proud look in his eyes. There's also the volcano with its rocks, wisps of smoke, and of course the glowing lava, just waiting to shine in the most beautiful shades of red and orange. This is a design where it's perfectly fine to color boldly.
Coloring tip: Bold colors for a bold dragon
Warm color gradients work especially well for the lava: yellow in the middle, with orange and red around the edges, and the volcano will bubble just like the real thing. The dragon himself can shimmer in unusual colors too, green and purple or even blue with golden belly scales always look fantastic on fantasy creatures. For the smoke, soft shades of gray work nicely, creating a lovely contrast with the fiery lava.
Maybe you can even make up a little story together: how the dragon discovered the volcano as his cozy, warm nest and now watches over it faithfully. You can download this coloring page completely free of charge and print it out at home on A4 paper with ease. All you need then are some pencils, a quiet moment, and the great dragon adventure can begin on paper.
