From New Moon to Full Moon: Moon Phases Coloring Page
Here your child can discover every single phase, from new moon through waxing moon, half moon, and full moon, all the way to waning moon, and bring each one to life with color. Between the moon shapes there's still room for little stars, maybe a cloud, or a curious creature that stays awake at night. This also gently sparks a feeling for how the sky changes over the course of a month.
A little coloring tip
Soft gray, silver, or cream tones work especially well for the moon itself, while the background looks wonderfully like a night sky in deep blue, purple, or even black. If you like, dab in tiny stars here and there with a light-colored pen or a bit of glitter pen, it really brings atmosphere to the picture. While coloring, some children love to tell a little story to go with it, like why the moon puts on a new outfit every night, or who might be looking up at it right now.

Just get your crayons or colored pencils ready, make yourselves comfortable, and the little journey through the moon phases can begin.
