A Brave Leap: The Wolf Jumps Over a Stream
Your child can discover the wolf's thick fur, his alert ears, and the bushy tail that helps him keep his balance while jumping. Below him, the stream flows over stones, and grasses—maybe even a few curious flowers—grow along the bank. Every line invites little hands to fill it in with color.
Tip: Capturing Movement with Color
To make the leap feel truly alive, you can start with light gray tones or warm brown for the fur, leaving a bit of white on the belly and paws. The stream can shimmer in different shades of blue, with a few white splashes for the spray around the stones. The bank is perfect for rich greens and colorful dabs for the flowers.
If you like, you can tell a little story while coloring: the wolf is on his way to his family and has to cross the stream to get home faster. Maybe he even has a reason to hurry—good news, perhaps, or an exciting adventure waiting in the forest. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on standard letter or A4 paper. All you need then are crayons or watercolors, and the wolf can leap across his stream in the most beautiful colors.
