Farmer Building a Scarecrow in the Field Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a farmer putting together a scarecrow right in the middle of a field. Piece by piece, a funny figure takes shape out of straw, an old hat, and colorful rags – one that will later keep the birds away from the crops. A motif kids love, because it smells of country life, adventure, and a little bit of magic. Your child can color in the scarecrow's wooden poles, the checkered shirt patch, the straw hat, and of course the field in the background. Little details like a curious crow sitting on a fence post or clouds in the sky also invite discovery and creativity. That way, a simple outline turns into a real little story.

A Farmer Builds a Scarecrow – Coloring Fun for Little Field Helpers
Tip: Straw tones and a cheerful face
Warm yellow and brown tones work well for the scarecrow itself – straw can look a bit uneven, that only makes it more authentic. The shirt can shine in red-and-white checks or colorful patches, however your child likes it best. The hat can be black, brown, or even purple – after all, this scarecrow is a real original. Let your imagination run wild with the face: some scarecrows look grumpy, others more like they're smiling. And while the farmer is still tying up the last bits of straw, you can decide together what color the field should be – lush green, golden yellow, or already autumn brown. The picture can be downloaded for free and printed easily at home on A4 paper, so the coloring afternoon on the paper field can begin.
