Up, Up and Away: The Easter Bunny in a Hot Air Balloon
Your child can discover and color in quite a few things here. There's the balloon basket with the bunny, the big round balloon itself with its patterns, and of course the landscape far below with clouds, meadows, and maybe a nest full of Easter eggs. Plenty of room for lots of colors and their own ideas.
Coloring Tip: The Balloon as a Sea of Colors
The balloon itself is especially fun to color. Why not think in stripes or checks? Red, yellow, green and blue side by side create a cheerful patchwork pattern that would brighten up any kid's room. The Easter Bunny can of course get his classic beige or gray fur, but a playful purple or pink bunny has also earned its place in this picture.
For the landscape below the balloon, soft shades of green work well for the meadows and a gentle blue for the sky, where a few clouds can drift along too. If you like, you can even make up a little story to go with the picture: where will the bunny fly off to next, and who's already waiting eagerly for his eggs? You can download this coloring page for free and print it out easily at home on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are some pens, a quiet corner, and the journey with the Easter Bunny in his hot air balloon can begin.
