An elephant who takes the rain all in stride
The motif is simply charming: big round ears, a cozy round belly, and plenty of raindrops falling from the sky like little commas. Your child can dive right in here, painting the umbrella in slanted stripes, letting puddles form under the elephant's feet, or giving the sky its very own cloudy mood.
Coloring idea: A rainbow after the rain
A nice trick is to color the umbrella in bold colors like red, yellow, and blue while keeping the elephant itself a soft gray. That way the umbrella becomes the eye-catcher and the elephant looks like a calm rock in the storm. If you like, add a little rainbow in the upper corner as a sign that the sun will soon be smiling again after the rain.
You could even come up with a little story to go along with it: maybe the elephant is on its way to see friends and wants to arrive right on time for a tea party despite the rain. Little stories like this make coloring even more lively. Best of all, you can download this coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper at your leisure. Grab your crayons, get comfy, and let the little rain elephant shine in your favorite colors.
