A Little Goblin Makes Itself at Home in the Garden
There's plenty for your children to discover and color in here. The goblin himself with his bumpy little nose, big leaves and flowers all around, maybe even a few mushrooms or stones along the path. Tip: Mixing Shades of Green Is Fun
A garden comes alive through many different shades of green, and that's exactly what makes this picture so exciting to color. Let your children experiment with making the grass light green, the bushes dark green, and the goblin's leaves somewhere in between. The little guy's skin can turn moss green or earthy brown, whatever feels right. If you like, you can even give him a cheeky red for his hat or a warm brown for his little garden shovel.
While you're at it, why not come up with a little story about what the goblin might be up to? Is he digging for buried treasure, or secretly tending to the flowers when no one's watching?
