Brave in Action: The Firefighter Puts Out an Apartment Fire
Here your child can discover the firefighter in her full gear, from the helmet down to the sturdy boots. There are also flames shooting out of a window, a powerful jet of water from the hose, and of course the house itself with its windows and bricks. Plenty of details to keep even the smallest artist's hands busy for a long time.
Coloring Tip: Fire and Water as a Color Contrast
A great way to start is by coloring the flames in bold red, orange, and yellow first, so they really look scorching hot. The jet of water can then sparkle in different shades of blue, creating a lovely contrast with the fire. The firefighter's protective gear is usually shown in yellow or bright orange, but at home it's just as fun to let it shine in your child's own favorite color.
Maybe you can tell your child a little story about how the firefighter was called and is now bravely and calmly putting out the fire to keep everyone safe. That makes coloring it in even more exciting. You can download this picture for free and easily print it out at home on A4 paper, then the mission can begin with crayons or wax pencils.
