The turkey takes off: An autumn flight to color in
Tip: Feathers like a rainbow
A lovely approach is to color the turkey's tail feathers like a little rainbow: red on the outside, then orange, yellow, green, and a warm brown right in the middle. This makes the bird look especially festive and fits perfectly with the autumn mood. The sky can stay a soft blue or hint at a sunset with stripes of pink and violet, as if the turkey were flying straight toward the evening light.
