Wolf Howling at the Moon Coloring Page
Do you know that feeling when everything grows quiet in the evening and only the moon keeps watch in the sky? We've captured exactly that moment for you and your children. Our howling wolf sits on a rock, head tilted back, sending its voice up to the stars. A motif that instantly captivates kids, because wolves are mysterious, wild, and somehow also a little bit cuddly at the same time.

A wolf sings its song to the moon
There's plenty to discover while coloring: the shaggy fur with its many strands, the pointed ears listening attentively, and of course the big round moon in the background. The rock and a few blades of grass are also waiting to be brought to life with color. So there's plenty of space for little and big artist hands who want to experiment with crayons, wax crayons, or felt-tip pens.
Tip: Conjure up with night colors
For a especially atmospheric night scene, it's worth using dark blue and gray tones for the sky and leaving the moon a bright yellow or creamy white. The wolf itself can be gray, brown, or even shimmering silver, depending on how your little artists imagine it. If you like, dab on a few sparkling stars with a light-colored pen, it really makes the picture pop.
Maybe the wolf is telling a story with its howl right now, about an exciting adventure in the forest, or simply about how beautiful the night is. Let your imagination run free while coloring. You can download the coloring page easily and for free, and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, then the shared coloring evening can begin.
