A Fox Cuddling Up with the Moon
This picture is calm and a little dreamy, with lots of little details to discover. Your child can color the bushy fox tail, the pointy ears, the grooves in the old stump's wood, and of course the big round moon bathing everything in soft light. A few stars and blades of grass are also waiting to be brought to life with color.
Coloring Idea: From Orange to Midnight Blue
Warm tones work well for the fox, from bold orange to reddish brown, with a creamy white for the belly and the tip of the tail. The sky, on the other hand, can be as dark and mysterious as you like, whether deep blue, purple, or almost black with a few bright specks of stars. The tree stump looks great in earthy browns, and if you like, you can let a bit of green moss peek out at the edge.
Maybe you can come up with a little story together: why is the fox sitting so still? Is he waiting for his fox friends, or just enjoying the quiet of the night?
