Gardener Sowing Seeds in a Cold Frame Coloring Page
While it’s still a bit jacket weather outside, there’s already plenty of gardening to do in the cold frame. This coloring page shows a friendly gardener gently placing seeds in the soil. Perhaps she has chosen tomatoes, radishes, or colorful flowers – for now, the tiny seeds are keeping their secret to themselves. Your child can discover how carefully the gardener works: the loose soil, the little rows in the bed, and the protective cold frame where the young plants can stay nice and cozy. As they color, the scene can easily take on its own season: fresh spring green, sunny summer, or a garden where even the soil can look especially lovely.

Gardener Sowing Seeds in a Cold Frame: Tiny Seeds, Big Garden Plans
Coloring Idea: A Garden Bed Full of Excitement
Warm shades of brown for the soil and different shades of green for the first little leaves look especially lovely in the cold frame. The gardener could wear a red, yellow, or blue gardening jacket, and her watering can can shine as if it has just been polished – at least on paper. If you like, add a few curious earthworms, a beetle, or a little snail around the edge, who probably wants to know what is growing there too. Perhaps you can make up a little story together while coloring: Which seeds has the gardener sown, and who will peek out of the soil first? You can download the picture for free and print it at home on A4 paper. Then crayons, wax crayons, or felt-tip pens are ready, and the quiet cold frame becomes a cheerfully colorful start to the gardening season.
