The hardworking griffin with his fruit basket
There's really a lot to discover here for coloring. The proud lion's fur, the mighty wings with their many feathers, and of course the basket itself, packed full of apples, pears, and grapes. Every detail invites little ones to take a close look and dive in with crayons or colored pencils.
Tip: Wild fantasy colors for a fabulous creature
Since a griffin is a mythical creature, there are no fixed rules when it comes to colors. The lion's body can shine in warm golden brown, while the wings can shimmer in bright blue or green, almost like an exotic bird. For the fruit basket, it's especially fun to work with juicy red for apples, sunny yellow for pears, and deep purple for grapes. That turns the basket into a little fireworks display of color.
Maybe your child will come up with a little story while coloring: Where is the griffin flying with his basket? To a feast at the cloud castle, or as a gift for a friend in the forest? Imagination knows no limits. Simply download the coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper, then the coloring adventure can begin.
