Soaring High: A Griffin Carries a Brave Knight
There's plenty to discover while coloring. The griffin's powerful wings, its sharp claws, and its watchful eyes are just waiting for color, just like the knight's helmet, shield, and sword. Your child can decide whether the griffin should look more like a proud lion or a majestic eagle, and a whole new little story takes shape on the page.
Coloring idea: fur, feathers, and shining armor
Warm tones like golden brown, honey yellow, or a rich reddish-brown work beautifully for the griffin, reminiscent of lion's fur. The wings can be a bit lighter, for example in cream or light gray, so they stand out nicely against the body. The knight's armor can be wonderfully done in silver or gray, while a bold cloak in blue or red gives the brave rider a heroic look.
Maybe you can imagine together where the two of them are flying to: a castle on a mountain, across a wide valley, or simply back home for dinner? That turns coloring into a fun little storytelling session. You can download the picture for free and print it out easily at home on A4 paper, so the griffin and its knight will soon be flying in color through your living room.
