A kangaroo enjoys the evening on its rocky ledge
Your child can color the sturdy kangaroo with its long ears and strong tail, plus the rock it's sitting on and, of course, the evening sky in the background. There's plenty of space for big, sweeping strokes as well as small details for steady hands with colored pencils.
Tip: Capture the evening with warm colors
For the sky, orange, pink, and a soft violet work beautifully, blending into one another just like in a real sunset. The kangaroo's fur can be shaded in different shades of brown or a warm gray, while the rock comes to life with gray, a bit of beige, and small dark lines.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring: maybe the kangaroo is waiting for the first stars to appear, or watching the birds fly home. Little stories like these make coloring even more exciting. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, so nothing stands in the way of a relaxed coloring afternoon.
