Kangaroo on a Big Hiking Trip with a Backpack
What's especially nice about this design is the mix of adventurous spirit and coziness. The backpack with its straps and pockets invites a closer look, and the kangaroo's long tail and big ears also offer plenty of space for little artist hands. Your child can also think about what might be packed inside the backpack.
Tip: Make Up a Little Hiking Story
Before coloring begins, you can think together about where the kangaroo might be hiking. Is it going through the bush, over hills, or to a picnic spot? This little story makes coloring even more exciting and gives ideas for choosing colors.
Warm shades of brown or a soft gray work well for the fur, while the backpack can be as bright as you like, say in red or turquoise. The background can be filled in with a few green blades of grass or a blue sky if there's still room on the page. Just download the picture for free and print it at home on a regular A4 sheet, then the hike can begin with colored pencils.
