A busy leprechaun harvests sweet apples
What makes this picture so special is the mix of magic and everyday life. Your child can color not only the leprechaun himself, but also the many round apples on the tree, the leaves on the branches, and even the basket that's slowly filling up. There are plenty of small details to discover and color, from the buttons on his outfit to the blades of grass on the ground.
Tip: Conjuring up autumn colors
For the apples, bold red, deep green, or sunny yellow work great, whatever your child prefers. The leprechaun himself can shine in typical Irish green, maybe with a golden belt or colorful shoes for that mischievous touch. The tree looks wonderful in warm brown tones, while the leaves in various shades of green add depth.
Imagine the little leprechaun is gathering apples for a forest festival to which all the woodland creatures are invited. Maybe your child would like to add birds or butterflies to the scene? You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on an A4 sheet. Grab your crayons and let your imagination run wild, this busy leprechaun is surely already looking forward to his colorful transformation.
