A leprechaun rides through the forest on a fox

As they color, your child can discover the leprechaun’s pointy hat, the fox’s bushy tail and the many little forest paths hidden between the tree trunks. Perhaps the leprechaun is carrying a bag full of lucky shamrocks, perhaps he is looking for his dinner, or perhaps the fox simply knows an especially exciting shortcut. There is plenty of room in the picture for every idea.

Warm forest colors for a speedy journey

The fox looks especially lively in reddish brown, orange or even golden yellow. The tip of its tail can stay bright white, while the leprechaun can have a green coat, red hair and a hat in green, blue or purple. Different shades of green work wonderfully for the forest: light green for young leaves, dark green for the shadows, and brown or gray for the tree bark. A few yellow leaves quickly turn it into an autumn forest.

You can download the picture for free and print it at home on A4 paper. Then all you need are colored pencils, crayons or felt-tip pens, and the journey can begin. Perhaps you will add a mushroom, a curious hedgehog or a little rainbow by the path – after all, the leprechaun knows his way around, and the fox surely will not mind.
