A Rainbow Reflected in the Lake Coloring Page
Your child can color not only the rainbow itself, but also its reflection in the water, the ripples on the surface of the lake, and maybe a few clouds or trees along the shore. This adds variety to the coloring fun and invites kids to experiment with colors that can look a little different in the water.
Tip: The Reflection Can Look a Bit Different
A little trick for more of a watery feel: make the colors of the reflection in the lake a bit paler or slightly blurred compared to the real rainbow up in the sky. This creates the impression of rippling water, even without drawing wave lines. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple can shine brightly in the sky, while appearing softer and calmer in their reflection on the lake.
For the bottom of the lake, shades of green and blue work nicely, while brown for the earth and a cheerful green for meadows or trees suit the shore. If you like, add a little boat or a few birds to capture the mood by the lake. Simply download the picture for free and print it at home on an A4 sheet, and the coloring fun can begin.
