Tip: Turn the mane into a play of colors
A lovely idea is to color the mane not just in one shade of brown or gold, but to mix several warm colors. Orange, yellow, a touch of reddish-brown in between – this makes it look especially lively and wild, almost like real sunlight caught within it. The body, on the other hand, can stay a calm sandy or beige tone, creating a beautiful contrast.
If you like, you can invent a little story to go along with it: maybe this lion has just woken up and is stretching in the morning sun, or he's about to roar loudly across the savanna.
