The mysterious Sphinx dreams by the Nile
What makes this design special is the mix of the mighty lion figure and the calm river water. Your child can color in the Sphinx's powerful face, shape the gentle waves of the Nile, and maybe even invent a few palm trees or sand dunes in the background. There's plenty of room for their own ideas.
Tip: gold, sand and a bit of imagination
For the Sphinx itself, warm tones like ochre, beige or a soft gold work well, just like the sun might shine over Egypt. The Nile can shine in a bold blue or turquoise, which creates a lovely contrast with the sandy surroundings. If you like, you can let a little boat sail on the river or paint birds in the sky.
Maybe you can tell your child a little story along the way: the Sphinx has guarded the secrets of the desert since ancient times and is treating itself to a well-deserved rest by the riverbank. This sparks the imagination and makes coloring even more exciting. By the way, you can download the picture completely free of charge and print it out comfortably at home, ideally in A4 format, so it fits perfectly on the craft table. Grab your pencils and dive together into the world of the pharaohs, we wish you lots of fun and colorful moments.
