A Mermaid with Grains of Sand Between Her Fins
There's plenty for your kids to discover and color in this picture. There are the long, wavy drawn hair, the sparkling fin, the little towers of the sandcastle, and of course the beach with its seashells and pebbles. Every detail invites your child to grab their favorite crayon and give the picture its own little story.
Coloring Tip: From the Sea to the Sand
A nice way to start is with the fin. Turquoise, purple, or a bold blue look especially mermaid-like here, and shimmering patterns in between are always welcome too. The hair can shine in red, honey blonde, or even a fanciful sea green, whatever you like best. Warm yellow and brown tones work well for the sandcastle, while a few light white dots give the seashells even more sparkle.
If you like, while coloring you can imagine which little sea creatures might swim by to admire the finished castle. Maybe a little fish lives nearby and peeks over curiously. The picture can be downloaded for free and printed comfortably at home on A4 paper, so nothing stands in the way of a cozy afternoon with crayons. Have lots of fun coloring with your child.
