A mermaid with a parrot on her shoulder to color in
What makes this image so special is the mix of underwater world and jungle bird, which shouldn't really go together but somehow works wonderfully. Your child can color in the mermaid's curved fin, her long hair that looks tousled by wind or waves, and of course the parrot's feathers with all its tiny little details.
Tip: Playing with colorful contrasts
The picture becomes especially exciting when the parrot shines in bold red, yellow, or blue, while the mermaid herself is kept in calmer ocean tones like turquoise, violet, or silver. This creates a lovely contrast between the loud bird and the quiet underwater world.
