Minotaur by the Campfire Coloring Page
Dear parents, do you know the feeling? Sometimes even a mighty mythical creature just needs a break. That's exactly what this coloring page shows: a minotaur sits comfortably by a crackling campfire, stretches his big hands out toward the warmth, and gazes dreamily into the flames. Despite his powerful horns and sturdy build, he looks completely peaceful and relaxed here.

The Minotaur gets cozy by the campfire
There's plenty for your kids to discover and color in: the minotaur's shaggy fur, the dancing flames of the fire, maybe a few stars in the night sky above, and the stones surrounding the campfire. A motif that captures both imagination and calm, perfect for coloring together.
Tip: Capture the fire's glow with warm colors
The picture looks especially lovely if you work with yellow, orange, and red for the flames, letting the colors blend gently into one another. The minotaur himself can be colored in shades of brown or gray, depending on whether he should look more like a bull or a fluffy creature. Dark blue tones work well for the background, emphasizing the night and the cozy feeling of the fire.
And while you're at it, why not tell your children a little story to go along with it: what do you think the minotaur experienced before sitting down by this fire? Simply download the coloring page for free and print it out at home on A4 paper at your leisure – and the shared coloring and storytelling evening can begin.
