The Minotaur with a Battle Axe – a wild guy for your coloring paper

Your child can really let loose on the many details while coloring. There's the shaggy fur on the legs, the rugged bull's face with the big nostrils, and of course the axe with its broad, gleaming blade. The background also leaves room for imagination, whether dark cave walls or a mysterious stone floor, here you're free to color however you like.

Coloring idea: The minotaur gets some character

A tip for at home, let your child decide whether the minotaur should look fierce or rather clumsy. The fur can be shaded in warm brown or gray, the horns shine nicely in beige or ivory, and for the battle axe, a strong metallic gray or a rusty brown works well, depending on how old the weapon should look. Some kids color the eyes fiery red, others prefer to give the minotaur a friendly look, both fit the story wonderfully.

If you like, you can come up with a little story to go along with it, maybe the minotaur isn't guarding a treasure at all, just his favorite flower in the labyrinth. You can download the coloring page for free and print it out comfortably at home on A4 paper, then the adventure can start with crayons.
