A hungry monkey with his favorite banana
Looking closely, there's plenty to discover. The monkey's shaggy fur, the curved shape of the banana, and maybe a few leaves or branches in the background are all waiting to be colored in. This picture is just right for little hands: clear lines, a friendly motif, and lots of room for their own ideas.
Tip: The monkey can be purple too
Of course, the fur can be brown or beige, just like real monkeys. But who says a coloring page has to stick to reality? Maybe this monkey has a thing for unusual colors and is sporting turquoise or pink fur today. The banana usually stays yellow, but here too you can experiment, with green patches for a not-quite-ripe fruit or brown spots for an extra sweet one.
Why not tell your kids a little story to go along with it? Where did the banana come from? Did the monkey pick it himself from a tree, or was it given to him? Questions like these spark the imagination and make coloring even more exciting. You can download this picture for free and easily print it out at home on A4 paper, then the colorful fun can begin.
