A Walk Through the Park: Mother and Child Close Together
There's a lot to discover in the picture, and of course plenty to color too. There are the two walkers with cheerful faces, a few birds in the sky, maybe a bench by the path, and lots of green all around. So your child can really let loose, with no time pressure and no way to get it "wrong."
Coloring Idea: The Park Through All the Seasons
Here's a nice trick for this picture: why not decide which season the walk is taking place in? For a sunny spring day, fresh green works well for the meadow, along with soft pink or yellow tones for little blossoms along the path. If you'd rather conjure up a golden autumn day, reach for orange, brown, and red for the leaves on the trees. Of course, the clothing of mother and child can be styled to match too, a cozy scarf in autumn or a light, airy dress in summer.
