A Princess and Her Elegant Swan by the Pond
What makes this picture so special is the mix of a graceful princess dress, gentle ripples on the water, and the proud white swan gliding elegantly across the pond. Your kids can decorate the crown, fill the dress with patterns, or give the swan a few playful splashes of color in its feathers. The surroundings, with reeds, water lilies, and maybe a few curious frogs, also offer plenty of room for little discoveries.
Coloring Tip: From Soft Blue to Royal Purple
Several shades of blue that blend into one another work wonderfully for the pond, making the water look much more lively. The princess's dress can shine in royal purple, pink, or a bright turquoise, whichever color happens to be the favorite at your house right now. The swan usually stays white, but a touch of gray or light blue on the wings gives it a lovely sense of depth.
Maybe you can come up with a little story together: What's the princess's name, and what is she telling her feathered friend right now? Little stories like this make coloring even more personal. You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home on standard paper, then coloring time at the kitchen table or on the living room floor can begin. Have fun coloring and storytelling!
