Mountain Hut in the Snow Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a little mountain hut standing deep in the snowy mountains. Smoke curls up from the chimney, and all around, soft snow hills rise up. It's just the thing for cold afternoons, when you like to sit down cozily at the table indoors.

A cozy mountain hut in the snow to color
Your child can discover and color in several things here: the pointed hut roof with its thick cap of snow, the little window shutters, tall fir trees at the edge, and maybe even a few bird tracks in the snow. There are plenty of areas that invite calm, focused coloring, and enough details for imaginative ideas.
Coloring idea: Winter mood with warm lights
A nice trick for this page is the contrast between cold and warm. The snow can stay in light blue, turquoise, or simply white, while the hut's windows glow in warm yellow or orange, as if a fire were burning inside. The fir trees can be colored in different shades of green, from dark bottle green to a fresh fir green, and the roof can be kept in red or brown before a thin layer of white snow is added on top.
If you like, tell your child a little story along the way: who might live in the hut? Maybe a mountain ranger with his dog, just having a hot chocolate. You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it out at home, best on regular A4 paper. Then nothing stands in the way of a cozy coloring afternoon.
