Tip: mix sandy colors and bring the desert to life
A lovely approach is to try out different shades of yellow and brown for the sand, so little variations appear, just like in a real desert at sunset. You can keep the Sphinx itself in warm beige or sandstone tones, while a bold blue for the sky creates a beautiful contrast. If you like, add small details such as palm trees at the edge of the picture or flocks of birds, which would actually fit perfectly with the bird's-eye view.
