Northern Lights Over the Lake: A Dance of Light to Color
Your child can discover sweeping bands of light stretching across the night sky, along with twinkling stars, maybe a few fir trees on the shore, and the mirror-smooth water reflecting it all once again. There's so much to discover and even more to invent, since northern lights don't follow any fixed rules anyway.
Coloring idea: Glowing without limits
That's exactly what makes this design so wonderfully simple. Green and violet are the classic colors of the aurora, but your child is welcome to mix in turquoise, pink, or even blue, since in the real sky everything blends together anyway. The lake below is perfect for dark blue with a few brighter light reflections mirroring the colors above. If you like, keep the trees on the shore dark and simple so the sky and water can shine all the more.
You could even invent a little story together: maybe a curious fox lives by the lake and watches the lights every night, or an owl is the first to spot the colors.
