The Orc Guard in Front of the Cave: Bold Coloring Allowed
In the background, a dark cave opens up, with maybe a few stones or roots lying in front of it, and the guard grips his weapon tightly. Your child can decorate the armor with patterns, give the orc's skin a color all its own, and decide just how spooky or friendly the cave in the background should look. So there's plenty of room for imagination, guaranteed.
Coloring idea: What color is an orc, anyway?
Here you can happily stray from reality, since orcs don't really exist after all. Green is a classic, but gray, brown, or even a bold blue can look great too. The armor can be beautifully done in metallic tones like silver or bronze, with dark shading for extra depth. Muted browns and grays work well for the cave, while a few points of light in the background create a mysterious mood.
Maybe you can come up with a little story together: what or whom is the orc guarding, anyway? A treasure? A secret? You can download the coloring page for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper, and then the adventure can start right at the kitchen table.
