Owl with Scarf in the Winter Forest Coloring Page

Dear parents, do you know that feeling when everything outside is white and quiet, and all you want to do is wrap up warm? That's exactly the feeling our owl has already captured. With a fluffy scarf around her neck, she sits on a branch in the middle of the winter forest, gazing curiously into the distance while snowflakes dance all around her.

A cozy owl with a scarf in the winter forest to color in

The motif is lovingly drawn and offers plenty to discover. Your child can color in the owl's soft feathers, decorate the patterned scarf with stripes or dots, and of course design the wintry scenery around her, with gnarled trees, little mounds of snow, and maybe even a few mischievous bird tracks in the snow.

Coloring idea: A warm winter forest in cool colors

For the owl itself, shades of brown, gray, or even a warm reddish-brown work well, depending on which type of owl your child imagines. The scarf, on the other hand, can be really colorful, maybe in red and green for a festive mood, or in cheerful turquoise and yellow if your child prefers something more unconventional. The forest in the background comes alive with shades of blue and lavender for the snow, while the tree trunks in muted brown provide a lovely contrast.

Maybe while coloring, you could tell your child a little story about how the owl got her scarf as a gift from a mouse, because she helped it find its way home. Little stories like this make coloring even more personal. You can download the coloring page for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper, and the cozy afternoon with crayons can begin.
