The busy painter and her colorful fence

Your child can fill in the painter's brush, her work clothes, and of course the fence itself with color. The bucket the paint comes from, and maybe a few flowers along the path, are also waiting to become colorful. So there's plenty of space for both small and big hands.

Tip: A rainbow fence

How about making the fence not just one color, but shining in lots of cheerful colors instead? Each plank a different color looks really lively and makes coloring extra fun. The painter herself can wear blue or red overalls, just like real tradeswomen often do.

Maybe you can come up with a little story together: Why is the painter painting the fence today of all days? Is it a gift for the neighbors, or simply because the old fence needed a fresh coat? Little stories like these make coloring even more personal. You can download the picture for free and print it comfortably at home on a regular A4 sheet. Grab your crayons, spread some newspaper on the table, and the creative afternoon can begin. We wish you and your child lots of fun painting on paper.
