Caught in Pink: The Photographer and the Cherry Blossoms
There's plenty for your kids to discover and color in here. There's the camera with its little buttons and lens, the cherry tree with countless blossoms in every imaginable shape, and of course the photographer herself in her spring outfit. Maybe a butterfly even flutters by, or a few petals drift down to the ground. A picture full of spring spirit that invites a closer look.
Coloring tip: Soft colors for soft blossoms
Cherry blossoms thrive on delicate shades. Try a gentle pink, white, and a very light purple for the petals, along with a rich brown for the trunk and fresh green for the first leaves. The photographer's clothing can be cheerful and colorful, perhaps in a warm yellow or soft turquoise, so she stands out nicely against the sea of pink blossoms.
If you like, make up a little story while you color: what is the photographer taking a picture of right now, a curious bee or the prettiest branch on the whole tree? You can download this coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper, and spring will come alive right there on the page.
