Picnic in the Sun: a coloring page idea for sunny days

Coloring idea: A picnic in favorite colors
Ask your child what they would most like to bring to a picnic, and let that appear in whichever colors they fancy right now. The sun can shine in a bold yellow or a soft orange, while the meadow comes to life in different shades of green. If you like, dab small dots of bright yellow onto the blades of grass, as if the sunlight were shining right through them.
Cheerful patterns work well for the picnic blanket: red-and-white checks like a classic picnic, or colorful stripes, whatever feels right. The fruits in the basket can of course shine in juicy colors, from deep red strawberries to sunny yellow lemons.
