Picnic Fun with a Hopping Kangaroo
There's plenty to discover and color in this picture, from the big feet and sturdy tail to the little pouch, which surely still has a snack waiting inside for later. Add to that a picnic basket, a blanket, and maybe an apple or a slice of cake, giving your child lots of room for their own color ideas.
Tip: A Picnic in Favorite Colors
While coloring, your child can let their imagination run wild. The kangaroo's fur can be classic sandy brown or gray, but a cheeky touch of orange or pink is fun too. The picnic blanket is perfect for a colorful checkered pattern, while the basket can be done in a warm wood tone or bright red. Those who like can tell a little story along the way, for example about who the kangaroo might have invited to its picnic.
You can easily download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. That way, nothing stands in the way of a relaxed afternoon with crayons, a picnic blanket, and a hopping new favorite animal.
