There's lots of detail to color in: the sleek plane with its wings, the pilot in a flight suit with a helmet, and of course the wide sky all around. Whether it's wild little clouds, a few birds at the edge, or a sun shining down on everything, there's plenty of room for your own ideas.
Tip: Use color to create speed
To make the nosedive look really fast, try coloring the plane in bold red or blue with your child, then add a few swoosh lines behind it in yellow or orange, it will look just like rushing wind. The sky can get nice and dramatic too, dark blue up high, a soft light blue further down, maybe even a hint of purple for extra tension right before the perfect landing.
Maybe you can come up with a little story together: why is the pilot diving so steeply, is he saying hello to a friend in the meadow, or just showing off what his plane can do?
