Planet Coloring Page

So glad you stopped by! Today we're taking you on a little journey through outer space, because this coloring page shows a wonderful planet with rings, craters, and plenty of room for imagination. No other motif leaves so much freedom, because in space a planet can simply look however your child wants it to.

A planet full of colors is waiting for you

Whether it's fiery red like Mars, striped like Jupiter, or in rainbow colors that don't even exist in real space, that's entirely a matter of taste. The large surfaces are wonderful for little hands, and the rings around it invite experimenting with patterns, dots, or wavy lines. That way, a simple planet becomes a true one-of-a-kind creation.

Tip: Your child's own favorite planet

Why not simply ask your child what their dream planet should look like? Are there purple clouds there, a sea of sparkling sand, or maybe even two moons in the sky? Colored pencils can create soft gradients, while crayons bring bold, rich colors to the paper. Dark blue or black work well for the background, along with a few little stars dabbed on with a light-colored pen. If you like, tell a little story while coloring, for example about a rocket that's just landing on the planet, or friendly aliens who live there. You can download the coloring page quickly and for free, and print it at home on a regular A4 sheet. That way, nothing stands in the way of the next space adventure at the kitchen table, and maybe a whole collection of colorful planets will grow into its own little gallery on the kids' room wall.
