A rainbow conjures color into the mountains
Your child can color the snowy slopes in soft white and light blue, while the rainbow gets to really pop with color. Maybe there are a few fir trees at the foot of the mountains, or clouds snuggling around the peaks. In any case, there's plenty of room for little discoveries and their own ideas.
Tip: The rainbow as a color lesson
A great opportunity to talk together about the order of the rainbow colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. Just let your child try out whether the stripes need to be exactly right, or whether a rainbow can have its own special touch. Sometimes pink is simply prettier than orange, and that's perfectly fine.
Gray and blue tones work well for the mountains, with a touch of pink or purple for the snow in the evening light, which almost looks like magic. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. Whether with colored pencils, crayons, or felt-tip pens, the rainbow over the mountains is already waiting for its colors and for a cozy afternoon with your child.
